Otome Game: The Blind Griffin Walkthrough (Complete)

The Blind Griffin is a visual novel game (with otome elements) created by Asphodel Quartet for NaNoRenO2015. It is set in the 1920's with 3 romance-able magicians and 10 different endings. You can get the game here for free or pay/donate for any amount you like. :> This is an awesomely written game with interesting characters and I learned a lot of slang words (dry up, you bearcat!). :D

I couldn't find a walkthrough so I tried to complete every ending and made one. Here you go. :>

(There are other paths that can lead to the neutral ending but I got lazy haha xD)

My Thoughts About: Higanbana (Japanese movie)

Higanbana centers about the 7th division of Tokyo Metropolitan Police and their duty to solve crime cases that are related to female suspects/victims. I only got interested in watching this since I'm a big fan of Kara's ex-member Kang Jiyoung. I'll give the movie a rating of 6/10 because the story wasn't that really special. The story was quite confusing at the beginning - I thought the plot was about a person who sends threatening postcards to brides but then someone gets killed and it's not even connected to the marriage thing that everyone is fussing about. I think should be made into a drama series instead. The most annoying thing for me was the choice of music for this movie. When I heard the song "Just give me a reason" while a tearjerker moment was on, I literally rolled my eyes in disbelief. Uggh. Seriously, that song?

Anyway, I'll give props to the actresses since the acting was good especially the main female cast. I just hope they'd give more screen time to the other members of the 7th division as it seemed like they were just supporting characters.

My Goals for 2015

Fresh year, fresh start. Change, it's the only constant thing in this world but applying it to yourself can be challenging. Here are the things that I want to change and work on this 2015.

Enjoy life and go with the flow

I am such a worrywart that I tend to think about every negative thing that could happen in my life.

Become open to opportunities knocking

I'll be prepared to accept challenges and give my all.

Be more productive

Do other useful chores instead of wasting time playing/idling all day.

Lower my pride and be more understanding

This. This might be one of the hardest thing to change in my personality. I'm short-tempered and whenever I make mistakes, I'm always hesitant to accept them.

Be with people who really matter

Quality will always be better than quantity so I'll keep my priorities straight and spend more time with only a few people who really care and matter in my life.

Start working on career

Sadly, I'm still jobless for almost seven months now and thinking about it really makes me depressed. I need to shape up and find a great opportunity now.

Begin saving/investing for the future

I don't have a single penny in my bank account right now and it makes me feel unsure about my future. One I get a work, I'll really start saving and searching for a good long-term investment.

Discard emotional and concrete clutter

I need to let go of these useless thoughts in my mind and sort out my growing stuff as well.

Blog more

I want to be more active and write about the things that I experience and interest me.

My Thoughts About: The School for Good and Evil

Okay the first thing that made me pick up this book was because of its attractive cover art. It somehow screamed "A Series of Unfortunate Events" and a bit of "Harry Potter" to me. A goth girl and a pink princess, what more can ask for? I read the brief summary at the back of the book and the word "fairy tale" made me buy it.

This book is about two opposite best friends who are made to live their own fairy tale. It's a rollercoaster of whimsy and gloom with the right amount of humor and wisdom. I loved how this story makes you feel annoyed with the villain but at the same time sympathize with her. If you're looking for something with strong romance elements then this one might not be for you but it has some of it too. Though I kinda feel that the love interest here was lacking in terms of personality and character. I wish the author could have made him more appealing but that's just my opinion though.

After reading this, I thought "People are like unpolished nails hiding their true selves beneath the colors." You should not judge by appearances alone. A butterfly might be poisonous and a spider might be harmless. I'm looking forward to the sequel but sadly when I checked all bookstores nearby, its already out of stock! Hopefully I'd be able to get one soon~

And it has been confirmed by the author Soman Chainani that there are already plans for this novel to be made as a film so I'll definitely wait for that!

My Pink 3DS XL + Pokemon X

I know I'm late for all this Pokemon X/Y craze but I'm so happy I'm finally able to have my own 3DS XL. :)) I freaking tightened my budget for a month because I was really determined to play the game! I bought my 3DS XL bundle at i.TECH SM North Cyberzone branch. I was looking for gaming stores offering the cheapest prices and luckily, i.TECH was offering bundles. This bundle consisting of the unit, any game below P1790 and accessories is worth P11,000. I think it was a pretty awesome deal since the unit itself costs around P9,500 already in DataBlitz and the Pokemon game which is P1750. The bundle kit consists of a crystal case, black pouch, an extra stylus, earphones, cartridges cases, cleaning cloth, screen guards and the 220 v charger.

I'm also planning to order this suppperrr cute Sylveon crystal case at Amazon because it matches perfectly with the Pink 3ds XL. :))

Trip to Divisoria: 1k Budget Challenge

My mom and I had another trip to Divisoria for our holiday shopping. We had all sorts of ~~mis~~adventures during and after our visit there but our timing was definitely a bad one. We swore never to go to Divisoria ever again during December. Haha. The place was so busy and crowded to the point where we were pitted against each other whenever we wander through the streets. It's better to stay inside the mall for everyone's convenience and safety.

Anyway, we limited our budget to 1000 pesos each. I'm such a cheapskate when it comes to buying my own clothes. Even if I happen to have the money to spare, I still prefer quantity over quality. xD But it's not like I buy cheap quality ones, just ones that are a lot cheaper compared to branded clothes.

These clothes were all bought from 168 mall except for the Hello Kitty one. The items in 999 mall were a bit expensive compared to 168. Here's what I got:

I'm so happy with these two! I was searching for denim printed tops but they were sold for like P200+ and since I'm so kuripot, I wanted to buy this for P150 pesos only! Haha. But it seemed impossible so I settled for P180.

These two were such a bargain find! The quality is good and it looks more expensive than P99.

This is perfect for the inner tops that I bought. I was so lucky I got this for P200. I saw another tiangge that was selling it for P280 each. :)) Sweet~

loose hello kitty blouse

I got this cuuuteeee blouse at the sea of tiangges outside the malls. It's only P150 and the vendor said it's from Bangkok. :)

And some extra stuff that I got, hello kitty wet wipes (P30 only) and the royal blue nail posh that I've been searching for (P20)! :3

Next time, I'm gonna buy shoes there. There were some good platform flats and boots that are sold cheaply.

Diabolik Lovers: Sakamaki Kanato Walkthrough and CGs

Kanato is the fourth son among the Sakamaki brothers and the second oldest of the triplets. He is a mix between Tsundere, acts mean and violent on the outside but sweet in the inside and Yandere, kills those who are meddling with him and his love interest. Ayato calls him hystery because he's like a screaming demon-possessed child. I usually read hate comments about him because of his violent personality but despite this, he also has his own way of showing his sweetness. Kanato always carries with him a stuffed teddy bear with an eyepatch in his left eye that he treasures dearly. He is also very fond of their mother, Cordelia.

Kanato is my favorite among the bunch. I know he can be really scary especially when he makes you visit the graveyard while he whispers eerily into your ear, or when he takes you to his room of creepy dolls while he threatens to dolly-fy you, or when he stabs you with a fork and kisses you gently but I still believe that he loves Yui innocently. Personally, I think he's not that bad ~~compared to perverted Laito~~. I also love him because I have a thing for shotas (hehe) and because Kaji Yuuki was his seiyuu. The eyebags are also part of his goth-vampiric charm as well as his lavender hair!

WALKTHROUGH
This guide is intended for players who don't understand japanese characters (like me!). I played the route again to write this guide so please do not repost as your own, linking is fine. Thanks!

Un Lock: You raise the love meter if you get the right answer. If you see hearts on your screen then you answered correctly. Follow these guide and you'll be fine but to be safe, quick save first before picking an answer. (quick save = L1/quick load = R1)

Lock: There are no right or wrong answers here. It all depends on what ending you want to get. The answer can be Sadistic (Violet) or Masochistic (Blue). For S you see a violet chandelier and for M you see a blue one. I already indicated in this guide the colors for each dialogue (1st answer/2nd answer).

In the ending part of each lock scenario, you have to choose 2 answers from 3 options. If you get it correctly, there's a blood splatter. If you got 1 incorrect option then just re-do the scenario. (I'm not sure but I think this has something to do with unlocking the heaven scenarios so you have to do everything correctly.)

Endings: To unlock the endings--

Good = must have at least 45 M meter (answer mostly in M)

Normal = must have at least 45 S meter (answer mostly in S)

Bad = both meters must be less than 45 (it can be S=40 M=20)
