"People with clouded minds can only see what's in front of them."
"They ignore the truth and only see what they wanna see."
So in reality, these are what we call narrow-minded people huh? :))I often know a few of those and encounter them from time to time. They are so worked up in seeing what they "think" they see and just end up missing the real picture. :) I guess I tend to be one sometimes.. I believe that our belief as individuals is one of the major factors behind our skeptical minds..
This line was mentioned by D (Daniel), a ghost, another significant character in the game who ended up wandering around for years with no memories of his past.. D met Ashley who helped recover and piece together his lost memories by venturing inside the mysterious mansion in Blood Edward Island.
"The question of why people die is too big for anyone to answer."
Death isn't just a mere matter of the causes.. sickness, accident, suicide.. the reason goes far far deeper than that which in actuality, no one doesn't really know about.. :|
"The living leave traces wherever they go and once you're gone, it's those traces that tell the story."
To put it simply, it's those good things that really count.. Mistakes are only remembered for a short while.. No one will care to remember about those failed marks you got in tests and childish pranks you pulled during high school.. Same as with biographies of famous persons, they aren't written to show the countless mistakes of those people but to showcase the exceptional things they've done in their lives. :)
"Finding out the truth might be scary but you should do it. Real sadness comes from not knowing the truth."
This might apply to a lot of people who are continuously suffering not because of the truth itself but by not knowing it themselves.. "Does my boyfriend/girlfriend cheat on me like what they've said?" "Am I really an adopted child?" "Will I fail my Math subject?" We are dying to know the truth yet we avoid them for all reasons fearing that we'll get hurt from knowing it.. Well in my case, fortunately, I don't have to worry about such dilemmas.. err.. The third one's possible since I've always sucked in Math during pre-school.. ;A; (yez, pre-school, shame on me.. *sigh)
"Part of growing up is being tired. it's a sad part of life."
Yes. It is really a sad sad part of life. :)) (hey, im still in my teens ok. lol) Aching backs. Sore muscles. Listless souls. Need I say more? :) lol.
1. Always come with a new theory.
Never stick to basics and common sense. :) Or as the overused phrase, "Think out of the box.:)"
2. Never forget to prepare the counterargument and follow-up.
Like in debates, never argue without sufficient back-up for your statements right? :)
3. There's a solution for anything as long as you think creatively.
If there's a problem then there's also a solution. It's up to us how to search for those solutions. :)
4. Giving up is not an option.
To quote another statement from a Japanese series that I've seen before, there are only 2 things to do in front of a goal, to "work hard" or to "give up." :)
Now.. whoever said that games can be bad influence?:) Think again.
