I'm back from the grave!

It's been quite a while since I last shared on this blog. Life has brought changes, but my affection for video games remains unwavering. Recently, I've ventured into the delightful world of Cinnamoroll plush collecting.

A revamp is in order for this blog. I'll be aiming to share content more regularly.

[Life] Got myself braces~

I am the awkward type among the confident bunch of people. One of the main reasons why is because I feel conscious whenever I smile. I just don't have the guts to smile with my teeth showing. I have these hideous large front teeth that  makes me look like a bunny. (I love bunnies though!) I spoke to my parents about this and I'm glad they supported my decision. Good thing my dad have an acquaintance who happens to be a dentist so I could get a discount. (hurray!)

I was planning to get my teeth fixed on my birthday (August 21) as a special gift for myself but, things happened so I had to postpone this until today. xD

Last week, I had my dad talk to his friend and schedule me for an appointment. I was advised to get dental x-ray done which I immediately accomplished within the week. And today, I finally had my braces placed! It took almost three hours to complete the entire procedure. I was skeptical at first because I've been hearing scary stories about getting braces and how painful it was. The only painful thing for me was the room temperature in the clinic. Lol. Other than that, I didn't feel any discomfort at all. The sad thing though is, I can no longer eat as fast as lightning and enjoy any food I like. *sob*

Here's me with my braces on. Please excuse the exhausted look. Haha. I got mine in Periwinkle~

Now, I just need to prepare my pain killers for the upcoming days. Hopefully, it won't hurt that much. :<

[Otome Game] Unplanned Amour Walkthrough

Unplanned Amour is a short dating sim created by Crimson Moon. It has 3 romance-able characters with a good/bad ending for each route. You can get it here for free.

WALKTHROUGH

Funny how I always seem to get the bad ending first before the good end. xD
(spoilers ahead)

Bastian is the cool and silent type among the guys. At first he seems like a delinquent but he's actually very nice. He and the mc is the canon pairing for me.

 Bad End

nod quickly

 Good End
hang up on her
ask your colleague instead
okay, sure
yes of course she's my best friend

Adair is  very energetic and positive. I had a hunch at the beginning that she's actually a dude. He is the loli/shota type.

Bad End
hang up on her
go w/ doc and girl
no, thank you
youve been good theres really nothng wrong
maya and i distract them

Good End

Evzen is the nice and kind senpai among the three. He's the ugly duckling turned swan.

Good End

Otome Game: Cute Demon Crashers Walkthrough (Sort of)

Cute Demon Crashers is a short visual novel game created by SugarScript. It contains explicit stuff (as in sex and mild nudity) so it's recommended for 18+ years old players. You can get the game for free here.

This game is pretty much straightforward and doesn't really need a walk-through (unless you want to unlock all images in the gallery). You can just go to wherever your chosen demon is to complete his/her ending. This is how I got the Lovers route but you can still get them through other choices. :>

Kael is a clean freak who is good at cooking and likes sleeping. He's really nice and gives off an oniichan vibe. I played his route first coz he seemed the kindest of them all and I was right. His route was really good and I liked how he was so caring to the heroine.

Lover's Route
  • Listen to explanation first
  • Spend time with kael (hallway)
  • Spend time with kael (living room)
  • Go to kitchen
  • Kael
  • We'll be fine
  • Pillow fight
  • Yes
  • This is fine

Orias is the the more refined and noble-like guy among the bunch. He may appear gentle and reserved but he is actually the "dominant" *ehem* type. He likes preparing teas and reading books.

Lover's Route
  • Listen to explanation first
  • Spend time with him (kitchen)
  • My room
  • My room (again)
  • Orias
  • Wrists tied
  • Cold
  • Yes
  • Yes
  • Ask him to strip too
  • Request fingers

Mirari is the only succubus among them and acts like a sweet and caring oneechan. I thought her route would be awkward but it was really nice. She likes gardening and gives good massage.

Lover's Route
  • Listen to explanation first
  • Spend time with her (garden)
  • Spend time with her (garden)
  • Spend time with her (garden)
  • Mirari
  • A shoulder massage
  • Go for it
  • That sounds great
  • Yes
  • Yes
  • Mutually touch her back

Akki is the youngest and has the least experience in their "job". I thought he was a tsundere at first because of his art but he appears really nice and childish. Like the heroine, he likes playing video games. He's also fascinated with pizza.

Lover's Route
  • Listen to explanation first
  • Spend time with him (living room)
  • living room
  • living room
  • Akki
  • Kiss him first
  • Sure
  • Take it off
  • Yes
  • Touch him in return
  • Yes
  • It will be fine

My 24th Birthday Bonding w/ Friends + New Pink Room

I invited two of my best friends last Saturday to sleep-over here in my place. We had a post-celebration for my birthday and ate all the food that we were craving for. OuO They also brought me a birthday cake~ Yeey~

We spent the night watching Attack on Titan the movie over the internet. (We were told it wasn't worth it to watch on big screen hehe.) while stuffing our mouths with Mcdo fries. *U*

The next day, we went to Fishermall to play arcade games and sing at karaoke booths. We sang our hearts out to our favorite 90's songs. It felt so good and refreshing because it had been years since the last time we went together.

I just recently moved to the extension of our house. I finally have my own (pink XD) room that I can decorate with all the kawaii and colorful stuff.

The Kawaii PH Book

I went to Kawaii PH Book's launching event last June 17 2015 to get my hands on the amazing book. I've been following the Kawaii PH community especially their founder, Rainbowholic, along with their magical adventures as they fill our world with sweet, magical and kawaii things. :)

The event was held at SM Megamall lower ground flower where a variety of activities were prepared and kawaii stuff were showcased. I came alone because my friends were not available during that day but I was content because I got my own copy of the inspiring book. :)

The Kawaii PH Book was born due to the collective efforts of its ever hard-working team, supporters, believers and enthusiasts. I'm in no way related/connected to any of the staff of this amazing movement but I merely want to share how I feel about them and their book.

Okay, so just to share.. here are some of my favorite reads/parts of the book. (Disclaimer: I only own my copy of this book and these photos that were taken by me. All content belong to its respective owners. :) )

Perfect quotes to remind us that just being ourselves is the "best" version of being "us."

Kawaii PH gives us an insight about what Kawaii is and what it means to them. Kawaii is a lifestyle -- a way of seeing and perceiving things. Do you ever wonder why looking at kawaii things make you feel happy or good? Because they bring magic and color to our mundane lives.

I really love this piece of whimsical art here and its message. I'm still one of those people who can't/won't leave their comfort zones. But I'm trying my best to do that..

Here's a step-by-step guide by Kaila-san on how to create your kawaii-fied Dreamboard. This is a stepping stone to opening the path to your dreams. :)

Chichi-san talks about self-expression/creativity and how your own style boosts your esteem and confidence. Also. Kaila-san shares the secret in achieving your dreams/goals in life through this cycle. :)

Ashley-san's inspiring story on how she is chasing and living her kawaii dream~

How you express yourself through your style/looks reflect the kind of person that you are.

And last but not the least.. I certainly love this poem made by Kaila-san. And for no real reason, It actually made me tear up.. Especially reading this part..

"Why hide your colorful self beneath the dull color that you aren't,
When you can be as happy as a vibrant rainbow in the sky everyday,
So what if they tell you to grow up and they force you to get rid of that big bow and dress made out of lace,
When you know in your heart that what matters most is that smile on your beautiful face.

Child-like is different from childish,
You can be unique but never lose touch of your long-time favorites,
And this is the message that we want to share and pass around,
Just because people are telling you things that are false and otherwise,
It does not mean that you have to remove the jewels from your crown."

This is a very, very motivational and inspirational poem. Just reading these words bring positive wonders to my thoughts. :')

Thank you Kawaii PH and the community for giving us this life-changing collection and proof of your hard-work. :) This book feels like reading a kawaii bible to soothe our troubled minds and souls. xD Your message definitely reached us. :) And if ever you'll be reading this, I hope there'd be a book 2 soon. :)

Let us support this Kawaii community created by Kawaii enthusiasts for Kawaii enthusiasts. :)

Supports are Underrated

I just want to rant about a particular rank game that I had earlier in League of Legends. *sigh* My role in this kind of game is to support. I sometimes play as ad/ap carry but most of the time, I prefer contributing to team fights and saving people's butts. I am not a selfish support and I'm always ready to dive in team fights whenever necessary just to get my team mates to safety. So earlier I played as Leona with a Caitlyn in the bottom lane. Just when we re-spawned, I was immediately told by Cait to be a good support so I can "carry" her. I just told her to play safe and we'll be fine. We were against Cho gath and Lucian and when I reached level 2, Cait was already telling me to engage and stun someone. That's fine with me but I prefer to play safe until we reach level 6 and get decently geared. But this Cait.. is just greedy and selfish as hell. She plays aggressively (in a wrong way) and got ourselves in trouble most of the time. During early levels, she engaged with our lane opponents and almost got killed. I immediately flashed to protect her and to prevent her from being fed but instead  of teleporting back, she refuses to listen and gets her self slain. This scenario happened several times during the game. I was desperately trying to protect her and get kills for her but what.. she tells me that I'm a useless/stupid support because I don't stun. Of course I know how to use my skills at the right time. I just don't stun for poking.  Good thing our Jungler, Nocturne knows that I'm the one who was doing my role properly. Cait was wandering aimlessly for most of the game and got herself chased by everyone from the enemy team. She even dared to go against Zed 1v1. -_- *sigh* Fortunately, we won the game with my score or 3/6/11 and Cait with 1/8/something. *sigh* No matter how great a support is, if the carry doesn't do well then you can't win fights. I just hope carries will realize that supports are there to "enhance/increase" the chances of successfully winning in games. There are times when we need to sacrifice ourselves to secure kills/victory for our team. But meaningless deaths are not okay. I love supporting people, I feel satisfied whenever I get to save a life and to help other players. I just hope that others will appreciate that. :( I'm playing from PH Sever by the way.
